Richard Branson on success, influence and life.

richard-branson-mag-coverRichard Branson is one of the finest leaders in the world. An influencer. His wisdom is remarkable. His greatness inspiring. I share some of his treasure wisdom with you for increased inspiration and influence. To your success.

Today nothing is sure; life can be one long struggle. People have to decide on priorities if they want to get anywhere.

The best lesson I learned was to just do it.

Take that first step. There will be many challenges. You might get a few knock-backs, but in the end, you will make it.

What is worse: making the occasional mistake or having a closed mind and missing opportunities?

If you don’t have the right experience to reach your goal, go in another direction, look for a different way in. That little word “can’t”  should not stop you.

Mostly, though, my success came about because I just picked up the phone and wrote letters.

Advertising, publicity, promotion- call it what you will- works. Even nature puts on show- flowers, birds, even beetles display themselves.

There is so much competition in the world that if you have something to sell, no matter what, you have to get noticed.

I believe in living life to the full.

If something is what you really want to do, just do it. Whatever your goal is you will never succeed unless you let go of your fears and fly.

Have fun. Fun refreshes us; it is stimulating and vital on physical and spiritual levels. Knowing how to laugh and love and appreciate each other is what life is all about. Have fun. Love your  family.

Don’t waste time.

Do not gamble on something you can’t control. Be bold, but don’t gamble.

If you can’t keep a promise, don’t make one.

Some you win and some you lose. Be glad when you win. Don’t have regrets when you lose.

Challenge yourself. If you challenge yourself, you will grow, your life will change, your outlook will be positive.

It is not always easy to reach your goals but that is no reason to stop.

I believe in myself. I believe in the hands that work, in the brains that think, and in the hearts that love.

Money is important. But the bottom line is money is just a means to an end, not an end in itself; and what is going on is just as important.

One of my rules is; Do no harm.
